H.O.P.E. Always Greets You With A Smile

Live your life like you're the hero in your movie and right now you're in the beginning  of the movie that shows you as a loser.

Quintin D.

President & Founder

Quintin D. the visionary Founder and President of H.O.P.E. - Helping Other People Everyday, has been a resident of Hawai‘i for over 30 years. During his time in the islands, he has witnessed the stark contrast between the breathtaking natural beauty of Hawai‘i and the social issues often hidden behind its commercialized façade. Compelled by the erasure of native identity, the rising rates of homelessness—especially among Native Hawaiian families and Veterans—and the growing struggles of the youth affected by substance abuse and violence.

Quintin established H.O.P.E. as a grassroots movement committed to compassionate action and systemic change. For over two decades, Quintin has led H.O.P.E. with the belief that every individual deserves dignity, stability, and the opportunity to thrive. Under his leadership, H.O.P.E. has become a trusted community pillar, offering vital resources in housing, employment, healthcare, and education. Through advocacy and service, H.O.P.E. provides a safe, nonjudgmental environment for Veterans, keiki (children), and the wider ‘ohana (family) to seek help, heal, and rebuild their lives.

Quintin’s mission is rooted deeply in Hawaiian values. He champions Malama—the responsibility to care for one another—and Laulima—the power of many hands working together toward a common purpose. He sees keiki as the future, investing in their education and emotional wellness to build a generation that values self-worth, unity, and community resilience.

With a heart for service and a deep love for people,  Quintin embodies the “Aloha Spirit.” He is a tireless advocate for those whose voices often go unheard, believing that all were put on this earth to love and be loved. Through H.O.P.E., he has inspired countless others to lead with compassion, give with humility, and dream without limits.
